As promised in my last “Swedish Sunday” post, here comes Azaleadalen! A colorful wonder to not miss if you are visiting Gothenburg during the spring months. Come have a look at it!

A beautiful day-trip from Gothenburg (Göteborg). It takes about 15 min to get to Jonsered – Bokedalens nature reserve.
There are several nice hikes to do around the area. My favorite is the one following a part of the long distance swedish trail “Bohusleden”. Read more
A nice idea to get out of the city and enjoy the beautiful coast of west Sweden is to take a trip to Sillvik.
From Sillvik “badplats” (translated “place to bath” – beach) you can either enjoy a good coffee at the seafront restaurant, have a lazy day on the beach or walk along the coastline (highly recommended).
